“I came to Scott with a narrow focus and pretty small goals: I wanted to work on my form so a couple minor pains didn't turn into something worse. He listened to that request without making assumptions about what my goals should be, and met me where I was starting from without judgement. Over the past couple months, Scott has shown me over and over again that I'm capable of so much more than I think I am, he has given me just the right amount of push out of my comfort zone, and he has encouraged me to set bigger, scarier, more exciting goals than I ever would have on my own. Every time I work out with Scott I know I'm going to learn, I know I'm going to be challenged, and I know I'm going to have fun. Everything I gain from our time together carries over into the workouts I do on my own, and I'm making much better progress because of his influence.
